This is due to the fact that they generate intermediary processes that occupy space in the device and, when closed, remain incomplete, therefore are hosted as "Cache" within storage. In simple words: the mobile is consuming resources in applications that you are not using right now.

However, the process to disable this feature permanently will be mentioned below:

  • Enter the section "Settings".
  • Accede to "Device care" as mentioned earlier.

  • Choose all the applications that appear in the panel and finally click on "Add".

Add background apps

By doing this, none of the applications you specify will run in the background, removing cache buildup and perfecting the Android system cleaning.

We recommend putting applications for daily use and that do not require much updating. Chrome, Instagram (if you don't have many direct messages) or the camera, for example.

Applications like WhatsApp need to be in the background so that the messages reach you well, so we recommend that you do not include it in that list.

Disable the tools you don't use

A great way to remove all unnecessary junk from your device is to disable each of the apps you don't use and come default on your device.

In this way, these will no longer be part of the system storage, and the creation of garbage will be greatly reduced. The two existing ways to achieve this will be mentioned below:

From the applications menu

  • Swipe up the main screen of your device.

All Android apps

  • Press for a few seconds on that application that you do not use.

Uninstall unnecessary apps on Android

  • When the menu appears at the top, press "Deactivate".
  • To finish click on "Deactivate" about the confirmation message.

From settings

  • Go to the tool "Settings" of your mobile.
  • Scroll to the bottom and access "Applications".

Android app settings

  • Click on the tool you want to disable.

Select junk app on Android

  • Click on the button "Force closing".

Force close Android app

By doing this, the tool will stop taking up space in the RAM memory and therefore you will have much cleaner your mobile device. This means that apps will stop running in the background, although they will still be installed. Therefore, when you reopen them, they will work as before without problem.

Clear the application cache

All programs generate multiple "Cache" components that allow us to keep user information within the system (for example, remember our password). However, these are part of the garbage on the device.

That is why if you want to perform a deeper cleaning of the Android system, you should start by deleting these files, something that you can achieve in the following way (remember that you will lose password or history reminders).

  • Accesses applications menu from your mobile device.
  • Press for a few seconds on the app in which you want to clear the "cache" so that several options appear.

  • Click on "Application info" when the menu at the top appears.
  • Next, go to the section "Use" and click on "Storage".

Once this procedure is completed, wait a few seconds and check the total cache of the tool in the "Used space" section. In case it has not descended, perform the above steps again.

Do not use animated backgrounds

Most of the time, when you want to clean the Android system, you forget a very important aspect and it is the main background that the device has.

Since this should not be animated in any way, since the tools that provide them, generally produce a lot of junk files.

Likewise, it does not matter if cleaning is done every day, since the cache of these funds occurs in a matter of seconds so the slowdown effect will continue to occur.

For this reason, default system funds should be used preferably or also enable a photograph from the internal storage to place it as the main theme (that is, use a photo of you as the background of the mobile)

This will not only improve the cleaning of the mobile, but it will increase the capacity of the battery (especially if it is a dark photograph), making its charge level last longer.

Restart the system when cleaning is finished

Whenever an Android system cleanup is performed, the apps that are in the background are still running even though they are partially closed.

That is why, at the end of the entire garbage deletion procedure, the device must be restarted, in order to all applications are as new.

Likewise, this action would interrupt the execution of processes and suspend them completely, thus achieving double the performance of the system and it can be used in a better way.

However, it is recommended do not restart it while an update is in progress of the software, since this interruption would have serious consequences for the mobile phone.

Manually delete your photos, videos and documents

Sometimes, when you want to reduce the amount of garbage on your mobile, you choose perform mass deletion of multimedia folders that contain information that is useless to us. For example, photographs or videos that we had as recuredo.

However, before deleting any images or videos, it is an excellent idea to transfer these files to your computer. For example, using a USB cable. In this way, when you delete things from the gallery, they will stay on your PC.

It is preferable to review and subsequently eliminate those deemed unnecessary, since these suppose a great load for the storage of the mobile.

Remove download permissions from apps

Most applications at the time of download request a large number of permissions to function, however, these can be disabled individually later.

Knowing this fact, it is recommended disable "Storage" permissions of all the possible tools, so that each time a file is downloaded to your mobile, you decide if you allow it or not.

In this case, the procedure to be carried out would be the following:

  • Access the tool "Settings".
  • Go to the 6th section of the panel and click on the tab "Applications".

Android app settings

  • Press the three dots that are located in the upper right corner.

See more of each app

  • Access the alternative "Application permissions".

Android application permissions

  • Locate and click on "Storage".

Storage permissions in apps

  • To conclude, slide the bars of each application to the left (so they are gray) and vCheck that all are shown in gray at the end.

Disable storage permissions

Reset your mobile device

In case you think that cleaning the Android system is a really difficult process, then you should factory reset your mobile device so that you remove all the garbage that is in it.

However, you should be aware that by doing so you would be restarting all the software so each of your applications would be uninstalled, and the files that are located in the internal storage could be erased. This means that all your photos, contacts, conversations… could be lost if you have not done an external backup.

Knowing this, you must transfer all your data to your memory card and SIM to later import them back to the mobile. After that, you should execute the following steps:

  • Go to "Settings".
  • Go to the penultimate section of the panel and click on "General Administration".

General administration Android settings

  • Click on the option "Restore".
  • Press on "Reset to defaults".

Reset defaults

  • Descend in the section where you will appear and press again "Restore".
  • Finally the elimination process will begin and you just have to wait for the mobile to restart so that you can use it again.
