Before you could already edit your own playlists on YouTube, however when viewing the videos of a channel you could only see them in reverse chronological order. Now it is possible to sort your list by most popular videos, the most modern to the oldest and vice versa.
Order YouTube videos to your liking
When you find a YouTube channel that may interest you and you enter its profile to see the most interesting videos, the first list that will appear is generally always ordered chronologically, the first will be the most recent. Sometimes this option is not the best because if for example we are talking about a series, you will want to start with the first chapter and you will have to scroll until you find it.
Y This change has recently come to YouTube for both the iOS and Android operating systems in order to change the order of these video lists. To do this, you must go to the Videos and Playlists tab of a YouTube channel, and you will find it just above the list of videos.
In the videos tab, the order set by default is always the inclusion date (the last to appear will be the most modern) or in other words, at the top you will be able to see the last videos uploaded first, the most recent. Here you can select three different options:
- Most popular, sorts videos by number of views, so those with the most views appear first.
- Inclusion date (oldest), oldest videos appear first.
- Inclusion date (most recent), the most recent videos appear first.
For sort the playlists of a channel the operation is exactly the same process, although you will see that the ordering options you have are different since the dates work according to the day the playlist was created.
By default you will find the reverse chronological again but taking into account the date the last video was added. This means that you will first see the playlists with the most recent videos even though the list was created longer. Next you will see the options you have:
- Creation date (oldest), the oldest playlists appear first, based on their creation date.
- Creation date (most recent), the most recent playlists appear first, based on their creation date.
- Last added video, the playlists that have the most recent videos inside appear first.
This is the order of the playlists only, not the videos that are within each list. The videos have the order that the creator of the channel chooses, but you can always create a list, add the videos you want and put the order that you prefer.
How to download YouTube videos
All the videos of the content creators that upload to YouTube can be seen simply by entering the website or application and having an internet connection. Everything you want to see you will be able to find on YouTube such as interesting videos, documentaries, scientific studies, etc. But surely on some occasion you have wanted or needed to watch a video without having an internet connection for any reason. Download from mobile
If you have a YouTube Premium subscription, you can download the videos from your mobile or tablet at any time. To do this, you must first find the video you want to download. Right at the bottom of the video you will find a button called "Download" that appears right next to others such as chats, share, save, etc ... You must click on it and wait a few seconds for it to download. Now you just have to wait for it to download, and the time will depend on the length of the video, which can be a few seconds or several minutes.
