Google Chrome

To be able to activate this dark mode on Android, the first thing we have to do is open the options menu that the browser has, for this we must click on the three points that are in the upper right part of the screen.

Google chrome

Once inside this menu, you must click on the Settings option which is almost at the end of the foldout that has appeared to us.

Configuration

Once inside you must find the option Themes which will open a screen with three available options.

Themes

The first of these is the System Default Theme, which if you select it, will activate the dark theme when the device is in battery saving mode automatically, without having to do anything other than having that option activated.

The second possibility is the Light Theme, which is configured by default and is Google's well-known and characteristic white theme.

Y finally the Dark Theme option, which is what we want and we must select to finally have our browser with this black appearance.

You already know that with these simple steps you can enjoy an appearance in your browser, like the one you see in the photo. If you like it, you don't have to do anything else on your smartphone.

I personally like this topic quite a bit for obvious reasons, since it rests our eyes and our retina will suffer less, in addition to the consequent battery saving, since those smartphones that have an amoled screen, the black pixels become off and that contributes to the fact that the battery lasts longer and drains less.

We are now going to customize the browser on our computer. Black is in fashion and we want to dress our Chrome in the most elegant way possible.

As you already know, you will have to look for the three dots in the upper right part, which some call "The hamburger", clicking on them will open a menu with different options, among which we must search Setting, You will easily find it at the bottom, almost at the end.

Once inside the browser settings of the giant Google, you must click in the Appearance section, which has a color palette as a differentiating icon. Another screen will be displayed where you will have available Themes - Open Chrome Web Store.

Once inside the Chrome Web Store, the first thing we find are the different themes created by the Chrome team with all their effort and dedication.

Now we only have to choose one of the themes, in this case we are looking for a dark one, as a Just Black which as its name suggests is the official dark theme.

However, if you prefer to choose another color, you just have to select the one that you like the most and select it. You will give the browser another appearance, assigning it a different color depending on the occasion.

If you prefer to save yourself, follow these steps, you can go directly to the Chrome Web Store, pressing here where you can find a wide range of colors available, going through a color palette ranging from elegant black, to other colors such as Classic Blue, Pretty in Pink or Ultra Violet.

If by chance following these steps you cannot configure this dark mode, It may be because you do not have your Google Chrome browser updated, it is time to catch up and update it, but if you do not want to do it for some inexorable reason you can try these steps to go to Dark Side.

Look for the shortcut on your computer screen and click with the right button of your mouse on it, then select the option of Properties.

In the window that will open, look for the option to Direct access and in the box where the word appears  Destination you must add the following as indicated: -force-dark-mode

The route will be as follows: "C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Google \ Chrome \ Application \ chrome.exe" -force-dark-mode

Then click on the Accept option and close the Chrome browser, when you reopen it you will have the dark mode at your disposal in your browser. I hope you enjoy it.
