In addition to saving time and money by making administrative functions via the Internet, you can carry them out at any time and place with this certificate. You can use this certificate during these procedures. In addition, this digital certificate is validated and works in less than a minute, so its operation is simple. Request a digital certificate

- Accede to this link to enter the official website of the Royal Mint.
- Within this website you must go to the Individual section.
- Then click Get software certificate.
- Then click Request Certificate. You must wait for a confirmation message to appear on the screen.
- Now you must go to a nearby citizen service office to validate the process.
- Once you have gone to said office, a link will be sent to your email to be able to download the digital certificate on your device.

Install the digital certificate on Xiaomi
The process of installing a digital certificate on our Xiaomi mobile phone requires a few simple steps. The first thing we must do is extract the compressed file that we downloaded following the application steps in the previous section, and that comes with the digital certificate. Once unzipped, you will see that the file has .p12 extension (this is the most common, although some certificates are provided in .pfx format), since it is encrypted.

- The first thing is to download the root certificate from the page of the Government of Spain from this link.
- Click on the Advanced option and different files will appear to download.
- Choose the one that suits you in your case and the download will start.
- You will see that the downloaded certificate has the .CER extension, and it takes up relatively little space in your storage memory, since it only has a few KB.
- Now, you need to open this .CER using the certificate installer like you did before and you're good to go.
You can find the certificate in Settings > Android Security. in the list of security certificates, you should look for the one you installed on your phone. Make sure you have the certificate you previously downloaded. You should have already completed this process if you have a Xiaomi device.
