When the application launches an update we run the risk that the installed version expires after a few weeks, so if we do not have the Automatic Updates or we have forgotten to do so, a message will appear shortly after our WhatsApp has expired and we must update it so that it continues to work correctly.

Y to update WhatsApp we are going to see the different ways either on an Android phone or with iOs.

En Android head over and open the Play Store, we will look for the Menu icon and then My apps and games. Nothing easier than clicking on UPDATE, which is next to our WhatsApp Messenger application. Another alternative, without further complication, is that you can open the Play Store and search WhatsApp. Just below the app we have the Uninstall or UPDATE options, click on this last option and voila, it will start working and keep your application updated.

For iOs system of your iPhone it is just as simple. Open the App Store, then look under Updates. And now we just have to click on UPDATE next to WhatsApp Messenger. We also have the alternative of opening the App Store and searching for WhatsApp, and we proceed with the same UPDATE operation, a button that we will find next to WhatsApp Messenger.
