The rice solution

Surely you have heard or read about this famous method if your mobile takes a bath. It is a half solution, that is, It will not fix any mobile that has gotten wet since that will depend on the humidity level and the time it has been submerged, or in contact with water.

This system works for those mild cases, in which moisture is absorbed by this cereal. Remember that if your mobile fell into salt water it is much more harmful since it corrodes the internal circuits more aggressively than fresh water, so if it happens to you, give it a shower of water and dry it quickly.

Returning to our rice, I have to say that it is not infallible, but we can also use cat litter as an alternative system, oatmeal or silica gel (Those bags that usually go into shoe boxes, bags ...). Therefore, we waited two days as we have said and now we only have to cross our fingers, assemble the pieces that we had separated and turn it on.

If not much water entered, nor did it attack the humidity too much, it may have been saved with this solution.

Using medicine cabinet alcohol

Yes, you read it right. We are going to heal the wounds that the water may have caused to our beloved mobile, for this we are going to submerge it again (what madness), but in 70º, 95º alcohol.

This is because thanks to the alcohol graduation, the higher the graduation the better for our purpose, it evaporates without leaving any trace, and the best thing is that it takes with it any water that might remain inside the terminal.

You just have to immerse it in pure alcohol a couple of minutes, no more. Remember that you must have turned off and disassembled those parts of your mobile that are likely to be able to do so. In this way, it will reach the same places that the water could have entered, and then we just have to wait for it to evaporate and the smell disappears completely.

Now you just need to check that it turns on and works correctly.

Keep heat sources away

As we mentioned above forget to apply heat with a dryer, put it on a stove or near them, or put it in an oven or microwave, because then you will have certified its death.

This is because Certain materials and components of the phone are plastic or highly sensitive to heat and can become irreversibly damaged. And using a blow dryer can spread the water to places that were dry or safe from it.

Remember that both computers and mobiles always work better at low temperatures, so forget to apply heat.
